Since 2019, the Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC) has provided grants for projects promoting research in linguistics, applied linguistics, language teaching, and language testing.

This program offers two types of funding opportunities:

(1) General Research Projects
Open to current full-time or contract-based Taiwanese instructors at all educational levels in Taiwan, as well as Taiwanese undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students enrolled in domestic institutions. Applications should be submitted individually.

(2) Bilateral Collaborative Projects
Open to domestic or international educational or research institutions. Project proposals must be submitted by a principal investigator on behalf of the institution, focusing on research themes specified in the program guidelines, with the aim of conducting joint research in collaboration with LTTC.
